Hi there!

Have you noticed eyelet and lace are having a major moment? I love this vintage girly look and in my photos above I showed how you can wear it on the beach or a night out! I would style the long sleeve top and skirt (both from my summer Hamptons obsession store: Loveshack Fancy) with an ankle bootie and leather jacket for fall, and just the way I did at the beach in Miami recently for warmer weather. The tank in those photos are from a small boutique in NYC!  White and brown are a fave neutral color palette of mine for fall, and I just got an eyelet long sleeve top with collar that I’m going to wear under my brown fringe suede jacket with jeans and brown suede booties!

Since my last post I’ve been busy settling into my new home in LA. I’m no longer based in NYC and am now in LA! It’s so crazy and definitely an adjustment but I am loving it so far. Thanks for bearing with me as I’ve been MIA getting settled and traveling for work. If you have any suggestions on what to see me in maybe a trend you’d like me to style please don’t hesitate to comment it on my IG or below on my blog here!

Summer in Lilly

Hi there!

I’ve been spending as much of my summer away from the city as possible (I’m a mermaid at heart) and summer in Lilly, especially on the CT shoreline or the Hamptons, is always a bright preppy and fun way to go. Here I am on the CT Shoreline in my Lilly Pulitzer tassel top, which was way less because I found it at Marshall’s just like the blue gorgeous kaftan I blogged about a few weeks ago! I am so happy Lilly is carried there now, and I don’t have to spend as much as I usually do in their stores for my summer pop of color fix.

I styled it with an oldie but goodie pair of white lacy shorts, my Havaianas flip flops, and Gucci shades for a beach or pool day. It is such a fun look for Summer to wear color and tassels, whether for the beach or daytime or into night (tassel earrings are my fave right now)!

Hi there!

Have you been seeing the bodysuit trend and wondered how to style it? There are so many ways and it’s such a fun and easy look for Summer! I styled my Zara orange with fuscia polka dots bodysuit with a cutoff short and flip flops at the beach or nude wedges to walk around casually and my straw bag. It can also be dressed up with a high waisted pant and heels! To accentuate the fuscia polka dots I wore a fuscia earring and my hair up to keep it casual and fresh. In the above looks I was at Rockaway beach in NYC and the bottom look I was in Miami recently!

Have fun with this trend because I just love it!

Americana Stripes for July 4th!

Hi there!

Wondering what to wear for the 4th of July? Americana is a look that never goes out of style, but for the 4th of July you know you want to look red-white-and-blue-chic! This Zara off the shoulder belted white and blue striped dress is right on trend. It’s preppy and figure-flattering and I styled it with a coral red cardigan (available now at the JCrew outlet) and coral red sandals, as well as a fun and festive tassel earring (we are seeing these everywhere and I love them and have them in different colors too).

A fun wedge or heel dresses up the look even more, and maybe a straw bag added would accentuate that Summer picnic or BBQ party!

Enjoy summer everyone :)
